    This book is a collection of proceedings of the International Conference on Mechatronics and Intelligent Robotics (ICMIR), held in Kunming, China during May 19–20, Nothing to do with mechatronics, but it's a good book. Reading a book on control systems will just make you want to throw yourself off the tallest building you can find, and won't help you all that much should you actually finish it. These two, often conflicting modes of thought, should in biomechatronics be considered as two sides of the same coin. The importance of constructional modeling cannot be over emphasized as the current applications of such intelligent algorithms or soft computing in design of biomechatronic systems is in need of further development.
